01. Terms of Use

Welcome to GrootHR. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. Our system is specifically designed to facilitate human resource management and payroll processing in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

User Eligibility

Account holders must be registered business entities or authorized representatives operating within the Philippines or employing Philippine-based staff.

Acceptable Use

Users are prohibited from using the platform for any illegal activities, including but not limited to tax evasion or violation of DOLE regulations.

GrootHR reserves the right to suspend accounts that fail to verify their business legitimacy or are found in breach of local labor standards. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding data falsification within payroll records.

02. Service Agreement

Platform Availability

We strive for a 99.9% uptime. Scheduled maintenance typically occurs during off-peak hours (PHT) and will be communicated at least 48 hours in advance.

Data Sovereignty

All employee data remains the property of the Client. GrootHR acts as a Data Processor under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

Implementation Process

Organizational Onboarding

Configuration of company branches, departments, and statutory contribution settings.

Data Migration & Verification

Importing employee records and historical payroll data for continuous BIR reporting.

Compliance CalibrationREQUIRED

Final audit of calculation formulas against the latest TRAIN Law and regional wage orders.

03. Liability & Limitations

Financial Accuracy Guarantee

GrootHR guarantees the mathematical accuracy of tax computations based on the inputs provided. However, the Employer remains solely responsible for the timeliness and veracity of employee data entries and statutory remittance payments.

Certified Philippine Payroll Standards

Liability Cap

Total liability for any claim arising from the use of services shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client in the preceding six (6) months.
